Rydalmere, Doueihi start negotiations

The Rydalmere FC have opened negotiations with Jescar Doueihi as the club moves to keep the striker sensation away from the clutches of Granville association clubs.
The Rydalmere Blog has learnt Doueihi is in the sights of the embattled Lidcombe and coach Ahmed Hajoom has contacted the Australian-Lebanese hopeful’s management in recent weeks to inquire about his contract status.
Doueihi has been in red-hot form and would be the perfect recruitment target for the Lidcombe, whose Striker/fullback stocks have taken a hit following James kazeem signing with the Auburn FC and Wayne lucas impending retirement.
But ahead of Doueihi’s backfield duel with Mt Druitt scoring machine Blake Callum today at Popedetta Park, Rydalmere hierarchy insist their striker/fullback ace is going nowhere.
Currently contracted until the end of the season, Doueihi is likely to receive a minimum two-year extension, keeping him at the Rydalmere until the end of 2013. Rydalmere FC operations chief Peter Basha said the club could not be happier with Doueihi, who has been a revelation filling the striker/fullback void left by Barry‘s defection to retirement for a while.
