Rydalmere FC veteran Kevork Sahagian has confirmed he will retire after this season because of an inury prone related issues.
Speculation last month suggested Sahagian was contemplating pulling the pin, prompting the Rydalmere FC club’s website to report the 27-year-old had not ruled out playing in 2014.
But Sahagian, speaking before last weeks derby clash with Greystanes, said he was treating the 2013 campaign as his last.
The Australian International hopeful has been one of the code’s most underrated performers. Sahagian needs two goals to reach 100 for his career and a further nine appearances to reach the 200-game milestone.
"It was a pleasure playing with Kevork and the way he showed great passion for the game, always motivated me to play much better. His truly a remarkable player for the game will be sorely missed." Former team mate Jescar said.
