Skipper Jescar Doueihi announced on His last game he would retire from the GDFSA at the end of what has been a tumultuous season for the Rydalmere FC Reserve Grade, who had 3 coaches within a space of 3 years and missed out on the finals  one year out of three

The 18 year-old admits he was disappointed at the axing of Simon & Paul, but denied he was forced out of the club.

"I made the decision and Basha (Peter) and myself and the club have been open with each other right through the whole process and probably just took a bit of time throughout the year just to decide the time was right.

Doueihi was adamant Rydalmere FC didn't force his hand.

"Realistically, I was ready to retire and that's the decision I've made and I'm very happy with that decision," he said.

"It wasn't great to see Simon & Paul depart but it was my personal decision and a decision for my family so that had no real impact."

Rydalmere FC boss Peter Basha was full of praise for Jescar who started his debut in perfect timing when they were needing a central mid and Jescar was scouted and signed for 4 year contract.

"This guy is an ornament not just to our club but to our game," Rahman said.

"I never knew he was going retire till the last few games when he really made it clear that his last game will be this year and we didn't get the result we wanted to send him off as a winner." Elie Faraj Said.

After 200 first grade games 36 going with Mt Druitt & rest to Rydalmere FC-  - Doueihi said he knew the time was right to call it quits from the game altogether.

Doueihi said he talked at length with his family and decided that his body wasn't able to take anymore and needed to have health and family first.

"Just then I tried to chase my brother out in the hallway and I couldn't catch him so I might just retire now, I am sure i will return to GDFSA sometime later in life." he said.

It was also rumored that Rydalmere FC were offering Jescar Doueihi a 2 year extension but turned it down. Jescar has indicated that he wants to move on to  give rugby league a try and it's a chapter in his life that he wants to do.

Parramatta Eels Set To Poach Doueihi

Parramatta Eels have made secret enquiries about bringing GDFSA Star Jescar Doueihi to the club where his father, Fadi supports
The Rydalmere FC Club are bracing themselves for a battle to retain a player they see as a future captain, with Doueihi’s agent confirming he will go on the open market on November 1, when rival clubs are free to negotiate with players off contract at the end of 2013.
Doueihi is expected to attract offers of as much as $50,000 a season for 2013.
“It is difficult to measure the worth of a player of Doueihis calibre,” said his agent Gavin Orr. “So it would be in his best interest to test his worth on the open market before agreeing to a new deal.”
Doueihi is just one of a host of playmakers off contract at the end of 2012 with an unprecedented $4.6 million worth of playmaking talent will be up for grabs as clubs scramble to lock down their most valuable players beyond 2013
Rydalmere FC won't be allowing any clubs to negotiate with their star player till the november 1 date. But it's understood Jescar Doueihi has declined to negotiate with Rydalmere FC till november 1.

Jescar Doueihi in talks with league clubs

Rydalmere FC enforcer Jescar Doueihi is in the early stages of talks to make the switch to Rugby League with a Sydney Club already signing him.
Inside League editor Mark Cashman revealed on Fox Sports News Long Lunch that the Australian international, who is off contract at the Rydalmere FC, has begun talks to explore the possibility of joining the Rugby League club. Another Inside league source has said that "Jescar has been sealed and delivered to a league club in sydney."
Doueihi has a background in league, having been picked up by his school without having ever played rugby league. He is a former Greystanes player, who graduated to the St Pauls Catholic College.
Cashman believes that Elie Faraj’s imminent arrival at Rydalmere FC might be a reason why the GDFSA club has delayed re-signing the physical enforcer, who has played 10 times for Australia. It's believed Jescar could be  declining a 3 year deal from Rydalmere FC to go try out league to see where he can end up.

Rydalmere FC won't rush Doueihi for new deal

Rydalmere FC officials have enough respect for left-mid Jescar Doueihi that they will resist the temptation to impose any deadlines on a decision surrounding his next contract.
And they have faith that the swirl of speculation that will follow him until he makes that decision will not affect his football for the club. Doueihi is the most in-demand player on the open market this season, and the constant scrutiny on his next deal has the potential to disrupt their season as well as his.
Club officials have opened informal discussions with Doueihi and his manager Paul Sutton but are not expecting any finality until well into the competition. That said, they are comfortable with the progression of talks so far.
The Rydalmere FC decision to re-sign Striker and Center Mid Rahman Grylls & Chris Felton until the end of 2015 & 2013 is likely to take them out of the market for Jescar Doueihi, who will start his ninth season in the GDFSA against Granville on Saturday, but there is no shortage of clubs pursuing the most decorated player on the open market. Blacktown City Demons, Greystanes, Toongabbie.

He Only Just signed a 1 year deal and made a return to the ryde area, Kris Felton has already caught the eyes of Coach Simon Doueihi and the star coach wanted to lock him in for extra year so he could turn him into a very lethal key player to their future attack.

No hurry for Doueihi to sign a new deal

Rydalmere FC enforcer Jescar Doueihi has revealed he is a long way off deciding which club he will play for next year and has refused to commit to the Rydalmere FC

Jescar is off contract at the end of the year and is yet to start talks with the Rydalmere FC.
It’s understood he will be offered a deal to remain at Rydalmere Club but it will need to be a high paying offer to keep him at the club.

“I’m off contract at the end of the year but it’s only February so there’s still a long season ahead and I guess things will work themselves out in due course.”

Jescar & Justin Doueihi No Show

It's been official why Jescar had be a no show along with his brother Justin Doueihi.

Jescar Doueihi has been ruled out till round 1 of the season already with a damaged Achilles and we have no reason why Justin Doueihi had a no show as well. It's also rumored that Jescar and Justin haven't officially signed a contract and it still keeps them open agents for any club to be poached.

While Justin Doueihi had a no show, it was told that he was not ready to come back to training and wanted to extend his holiday and should sign the contract along with his brother on Thursday.

"We have had no contact what so ever from any of the two brothers and were hoping to give them a call or hit them up with a message to see what their status is, as far as we know it Jescar has agreed terms for 2012 and needs to sign the contract to get him locked away from other clubs." Peter Basha Said

"Ah you know first training session back and Jessie not being there was crucial to the team, we thought he'd turn up but i can't wait for him to turn up to next training session which is Thursday and hope him and his brother Justin come along." Rahman Grylls said.

It will all be known officially if Jescar & Justin sign contracts because the transfer market closes on Thursday and training is also on Thursday, so this could determine what happens.

If Jescar does sign for 2012, he would be ruled out for round 1 or could possibly be bench.

RUMOUR: Jescar Doueihi released by Rydalmere FC

The latest rumour doing the rounds is that Jescar Doueihi and the Rydalmere FC have mutually agreed to part ways, to be made official once the Pre-season is over. This was caused due to the injury jescar has been holding for the last few years, Rydalmere may have given him the last thread.
It was reported a few weeks back that the Rydalmere FC had been shopping Doueihi around and it now seems one of these clubs has agreed to take on the Australian/Lebanese international.
Releasing Doueihi will free up a huge amount of cash under the salary cap for the Rydalmere FC, as he’s reported to be on around $1,000,000 per season.
The Greystanes and the Toongabbie are the hot favourites to snare the signature of the enigmatic player, while a retirement also remains an option.
Meanwhile, the Rydalmere FC look set to lose veteran utility Justin Doueihi, with the Lidcombe targeting his versatility. There have also been rumours that left mid "piere merheb" could be lost to a rival club as well.
It’s not clear yet if the club will look to sign a new player to replace the losses or promote from their junior ranks.
UPDATE: Not long after this article was published, Doueihi Facebooked his followers that he wouldn’t be leaving the Rydalmere FC Club due to injury. Perhaps there is no truth to this rumour.

Pre-Seaon session possibly ends in disaster for young Rydalmere FC Jescar Doueihi

TEEN Rydalmere sensation Jescar Doueihi has possibly became the first player ruled out for 2012 - thanks to a re-occurring injury of the Achilles tendon.

On the comeback trail from Achilles Tendon tear that prematurely ended his rookie season in 2009, the 18-year-old centre suffered the same injury during a routine running session last week.
Doueihi's troublesome left Achilles tendon came to more grief upon treading on a rough surface while doing pre-season training at the beach.
Doctors declared a recurrence of the injury almost straight away, their diagnosis could possibly be ending Doueihi's upcoming season with the new season still a month away.
It's believed he underwent rehab yesterday.
Doueihi's possibly loss, however, is a distinct set-back for Rydalmere's which they have gained a few player yet to be confirmed by the club for 2012.
After posting 19 goals from 30 RYDALMERE FC appearances, Doueihi suffered the injury during Doueihi's round 6 loss to the Granville on home soil.
Coach Peter Basha did not return calls last night, but club sources said the 152cm powerhouse was making encouraging progress with his recovery.
"It's absolutely devastating for Jescar because he was doing everything right and was on track to take the field again early next season, which was always the target," one insider said.
"He was just doing a pre-season session, turned and trod on some hard surface and that was it."
The recruitment has given Rydalmere FC more depth in the team for 2012, along with the return of all the rumored gains; Justin Doueihi, Barry Gettany, Chris Gettany, Mark Abou-Mherez.
